Linda and Billy Hutchings lived a life of service. Linda as an educator and Billy as the visionary of Crowley House of Hope. Service to others was their mission and passion. This scholarship fund was created to see their legacy of service live on through a local high school graduate who shares their passion for service to others.

The Linda & Billy Hutchings Scholarship is a $1,000.00 one-time, nonrenewable scholarship for a graduating high school senior attending school in one of the following zip codes: 76036, 76123, 76132, 76133, 76134, and 76140. The applicant should plan to attend full time a trade school, community college, college or university immediately following high school graduation.

The application and requested documentation should be mailed to:

Applications are due by April 26, 2024 and must include:

Completed application form with essay
Copy of most recent report card
Copy of current high school transcript
Written recommendation from a high school guidance counselor
Written recommendation from a high school teacher
Written recommendation from an individual (employer, pastor, place of volunteer service)

Scholarship awardee will be notified no later than May 15, 2024. The award will be paid directly to the awardee after proof of graduation from high school and with official enrollment documentation from technical school, college, or university is provided to Crowley House of Hope.
